i was not prepared for the good news that mdm have in store for me.. Blacky is in the up coming dog trial.. and come out top for this year assessment.. i was flattered to hear that.. now im more prone to anxiety attacks as the dog trial is just round the corner..

and i also know who is the one that tag my message board as "A" : "Try lah".. guess i have underestimated her.. i refrain from saying anything.. think those who read my blog will know who is it..

Driving in the rain

hai.. i hate the weather.. when i want bad weather, they give me hot and humid weather.. when i want hot weather, they give me cold weather instead.. never once in my driving, i ever have a bad weather to drive in.. not even when i went for driving lesson.. not even when im driving when im on duty.. the most i got is a light drizzle.. not heavy rain that last for a few hours..

i love driving during a heavy downpour.. i donno why.. but i just love it.. maybe i drive too long in the sun, and the glare is getting sick of it..

Reservist

hey manpower, how come someone lives in tampines yet can go to A division for his reservist har?? funny leh.. i thought should be in G division or the worst KINS.. but anyway, he sure kana called back for this september World Bank Conference..

on the other hand, i have to thank manpower.. hehe.. they help me to reserve a place in poly lor.. thank you ah.. at least i not afraid of missing my studies while kana called back for the World Bank Conference..

seriously, for someone who thinks that everything is over despite going though the storm, doesnt mean it wont happen again.. he is utterly over-confident about the way it is now.. he is like, someone who got praised too much that he is floating in the sky.. time for some humility lessons..

yesterday is a black day.. our team got one new sc who just posted to changi base kana accident.. and is just happened outside our base.. somemore is on the way to work.. he cross the road when he is in front of a bus, a motorbike out of nowhere hit him.. i was at the other side of the road where the accident happened.. another colleague was just infront of the scene.. first time attend accident, straight away call 995.. and not 999.. silly me.. maybe i was too kan cheong and that the accident was minor, hence i call 995 in the first place.. and went to the nearest hospital which is Changi General Hospital..

miracleously, the SC suffered no injuries as he only have abrasions.. while the motorist had a broken collarbone..

oh well.. time for some good news instead.. i received the progess package letter and got $900 from the government..

and Blacky is the first dog to be in the dog trial.. argh..

Wasted trips

damn pissed off today.. i make a total of 2 wasted trips for nothing..

first, went to SOC to collect a letter about my NS status to reserve a place for my studies in poly.. called the person-in-charge.. no answer.. never mind.. called my PNS PO for K-9 and heard that the document is already at his table.. go SOC for nothing, just to come here and see the troopers training..

and so off i went back to HQ.. waited for the PNS PO to come back and collect the document for him.. then went to Ngee Ann Poly to submit the letter in person..

next destination: Ngee Ann Poly.. go up to the admissions office and give the letter.. thought my place will be secured.. who knows the person who received it and say, "this letter is not acceptable as there is no letter head or chop.. i can also just type out the letter like that.." then she called SOC about the lack of letter head of the document and SOC will send the letter on my behalf and Ngee Ann Poly will reply back to me.. wah.. go Ngee Ann poly also for nothing.. go there see girls.. now semester break, no girls to see..

Blacky

Blacky has indeed lived up it name, "SI Chee's Dog.."

i just want a pass on my dog assessment so that i can at least get into ORD mood.. but Blacky dont want me to have that moment so fast.. so he did perfectly good on the assessment that day... argh.. i dont want to go into top 5.. i dont want to carry the Changi Base name alone to HQ..

Me: "Blacky, why you never do well in the first round and have to do exceptionally well in the second round?"

Blacky gives me a blank look and wanted to inch forward to lick my face...

oh, Blacky have also learn from my characters liao.. just say that if he doesnt like to do more than what he required to do.. he wont do for you.. he will ignore your commands and just rest at there.. he seem to tell me that i already know what to do, why still ask me to do some more.. and true to his words, he did his best during the assessment..

minci, this world is unfair.. people around us will take advantage.. they are selfish.. they just want their own benefits.. as long as they can get what they intend to get, they will find all kinds of means to get it.. politics, backstabbing, gossip.. i have see majority of them during my ite and also my current workplace.. do you think the vandalism on the wall, "gary is here" is the first time i saw it.. heck, during my ite, people also do that to me.. on both occasions, i dont really bothered about it.. i just concentrate what i need to do and end my day with a smile on my face.. i have no worries, no guilty conscience, no regrets.. haha, shopping therapy is also a good way to relive stress and also able to reap what you have sow.. dont overlimit your budget.. hahaha..

Application to Ngee Ann Poly

the letter is here.. the result of my application will be known in a matter of seconds when i peeled the strips of the seal away.. and i got into the poly and the course that i wanted.. haha.. 1st time i applied for it, i only put this course in.. they reject as the course is popular and reservations is fill up.. never mind.. 2nd time tried again.. with 4 more courses applied again.. and got it.. Thanks God for that..

now come the problem.. they didnt say when i will start the course.. but guess i have to call them and inform that i want to start the course next yr as i ord in jul.. now is the time to find part time job.. any recommendation, lobangs, intro??

oh, in case you didnt know, i succeed in applying for Banking and Finance Services in Ngee Ann Poly..

im very tired.. physically tired.. i need a break.. i need a vacation.. the last break was in dec.. but on the other hand, i have planned my ord leave in such a way that im taking during the night shift in jun for the world cup.. guess i have to push myself for the final 4 months..

some updates..
1) i drop the IPPT as i find that i cant run.. well, not that i have illness but is just that im very lazy to exercise.. and no, im not fat.. im still very much the same..

2)apply for poly.. yet to know the results.. either next week or apr.. hopefully could get into Ngee Ann Poly..

3)dog assessment in 3 days time.. been pressure again by the same old people..

my mdm told me this, "the guy that confronted you, admit his mistakes.. he really did not take the incident into heart but other people might not be that forgiving.." TRUE!!! Changi Base have only a small group of people working.. less than 30 people.. yet majority of it are going against him and his colleague for spoilting the market in Changi Base.. i dont want to say what is the market all about.. own team own matters.. why bother about other team matters?? and why am i the only one kana by him?? why other people dont voice out their unhappiness to him??

yes, im the sort of person who dont like, will voice out my opinion.. hey, that is my right to do it.. i feel that i always have trump cards on my sleeve everytime whenever im in a disadvantage.. like secrets, history.. once i say it out, you will see the sudden change of that person's reaction.. those secrets will be safe unless you want to taste your own medicine..

during the morning shift, i received a call from the guy who confronted me.. and apologise to me again and also requested me to shake his hands again infront of mdm.. well, to me, im fine with it.. but i think im having a phobia of working with him again.. even my team also have this phobia..

yesterday is a day where i feel like been crucified.. firstly, been confronted by the guy who say that i didnt show him respect.. for the whole of 30 mins, he only ask me 2 qns over and over again.. and bring up the past before i come to Changi Base.. when he repeated the qn for the second time, i knew im having a tough time to convince him even though my answer was like foolproof..

1) why you didnt show respect to me? x 4
ans: ever since you comment the last time that i didnt do anything and make you all do like robots, the respect is not there.. this comment show me his anger..haha..
ans: because of the way you planned the deployment.. this comment soften him now..
ans: you never checked the deployment of my current team before you put me for deployment..
ans: i come here to send vehicle for repair and not do deployment for you..

2) why you rest more than the required time? x 4
ans: mdm briefed me on it.. and she was the one that say ok with it.. x 4

the confrontation settled and shake hands.. i just take whatever he gives.. and i find that the whole confrontation was nothing at all.. because someone else was making comments about me covering in his team.. this person hated me even when i was in HQ.. guess this person must have a good night sleep over the weekend.. but not for long..

now the second one where i went for deployment.. guess what i found? vandalism on the dog hut wall.. the writings were, "gary is here" "ord" "no more delta"
im not that stupid to write on the wall and report to mdm.. this is just like shooting your own self in the foot..

wahahaha.. someone indirectly told me that i didnt show him respect.. guess that person only heard a part of me about the problems in HQ.. i cant be bothered about it as for me, i dont give a damn about ranks..

hello, im unique.. im one of a kind.. there is no way others can do it the way i want it to be..
if someone say 2, i dare to say 1..
if someone say 1, i go for 2 instead..

this incident happen when i cover for my old team.. as long as i did my deployment, i do my own things.. i rest how long i want.. mdm didnt even question me..

this person have nothing to do, find unnecessary things to play.. this is the second time he is doing it to me.. the first time he did it to me, the respect is gone..

"why you never do anything? make us do like robots.." does deploy as a driver and send people for deployment not doing anything?? i was shocked when he say to me.. after that my impression towards him change for the worse and then he added on, "eh, dont take my comments to heart.. take it easy ok.." that comment make me determined to change team..

if regulars want to be "siao on".. then do it yourself.. dont drag those people who are serving ns be "siao on".. this is not our permanent job neither is our rice bowl..

1 million dollars

hmm.. what will i do if i have 1 million dollars? anyone have this thought of been a millionaire overnight and not knowing what to do with the money??

chinese new yr have not passed even one week, and we have 3 major cases liao.. 1 armed robbery, 1 murder and 1 mafia styled killing.. not bad, either our authorities are slacking or we are going back to olden times..

im not trying to be a bastard as to how those people have treated me.. im not trying to get back to them by plotting revenge on them.. by doing so, im just taking things into my own hands and in return, i suffered the most.. what i do believe is that God will melt out the consequences by many fold to these kind of people.. is my answer satisified to you.. hehe..

Real drama

ok.. so today is the o level results.. and my block got some drama going on.. dont think there is a link between the release of o level result and drama going on in my block..

well, apparently, there is a girl who failed her o level and wanted to jump down at my block.. heck, she doesnt even live in my area.. police and civil defence were called in and put out the inflated bed.. ok, im not going to add salt to her wounds.. but all i can say is people take failure differently.. and she is taking it too seriously..

i heard johnny is going to be the Security Dog assessor.. wah.. i hear his name, i sian 1/2.. he was the one that transferred me out to Changi Base.. well, civil servants have to protect their rice bowl.. hence they can do anything as long as it is legal, within their authority just to pissed us off while serving our NS..

i think i should list out some rights for myself..
- people who take me for granted.. out you go..
- people who treat me as an ATM machine.. out you go..
- people who treat me as a vending machine only exception is buddies and gf.. out you go..
- people who cant accept me for who i am.. out you go..
- people whose mouth is full of crap but no action (been boastful).. out you go.. this is what i called them, "empty vessels make the most noise"

all i can say is that i taken too much crap from all these kind of people for the last 2 yrs.. i have enough of it.. anymore from these kind of people, just once will do the trick.. i just dont have the patience to play this kind of game anymore..

5 more months to ORD.. and i already have this mood.. but somehow Blacky sensed it and do badly in the obedience exercise.. see lah.. now i have to pretend to shower him with lots of love and care to do well especially the dog assessment is just round the corner..

one funny incident to share.. a few days back, i went to cineleisure to watch movie.. i queued up for the tickets.. for the next 10-15 mins, the queue didnt moved at all due to a lady who bought tickets with her visa card.. i was reading my newspaper and was also been distraughted by those ang moh boys making fun of the jack neo movie poster.. and guess what, my friends was just infront of me in the queue..and we didnt see each other for that duration of time.. and end up discovering about it during MSN chat.. tsk tsk..

minci.. your dream, i roughly know what is it.. is it you will be risen to the top and cant handle the pressure.. you will fall greatly??

yesterday drove a brand new Toyota Altis as i signed up for the NTUC Carsharing Scheme.. worth much cheaper than in a car rental company.. you pay what you use.. they only ask you to pay for the time you used, and the mileage that you drove.. as for petrol, you use their account to pay for it..

the car width was much bigger than my uncle's car that i drove.. the interior itself is like a luxury to me.. to go down in a spiral way just to look for a parking lot, my friend have to help me before i get used to handle the car..

i used the car yesterday for the SOC D&D.. pretty much so-so..

is been a long time since i blog.. if i keep on blogging the same old things, it might be very boring..

now that i have changed to team Alpha, all i can say is the best i have ever work in a team that suited my style. as long as you have done your duty, you can do anything you want without the interference of others, that's so cool.. team Bravo in HQ and team Delta in Changi Base dont give me this kind of working lifestyle.. i dont like to work where i have done my duty yet having someone to cut into my "idling time" to help them to do something..

hmm, NS personnel getting a one-off bonus and allowances is also increasing.. to be a regular better or NS personnel better.. hahaha..

im counting down to the day i ORD now.. hahaha.. 6 months and 1 week to go.. damn.. why must i ord after the World Cup? lucky im not a person who play MC or take leave regularly.. i have planned my ORD leave in such a way im only working day during the world cup.. and after the world cup, i can clear about 3-4 tours of shift before shouting "ORD!!"

due to some unforseen circumstances, the time of getting a new car might be delayed.. i hope to have these circumstances clear by Jun, hopefully..

Civil Defence Exercise

this morning explosion exercise, i guessed correctly 3 stations.. only marina bay station stop me from getting full marks.. haha.. the 3 stations are toa payoh, raffles and dhoby ghaut..

the earliest indication that the exercise going to be underway was on the way to work.. saw several Civil Defence vehicles drove passed with the blinkers on..

another indication was a few days back when i went to Plaza Singapura to shopping.. saw a new white SOC vehicle at dhouby ghaut mrt station..

lucky i never late for work or in a way affect my timing to work.. if i still posted to HQ, either i will be late for work or no need to go as it could be my off day..

for a change, i spoke to one of my christian friend about it.. and her views was exactly the same as what i expected.. and the way i see it, believers and non-believers, the thinking is very different.. non-believers will say to me, "give up.." while believers will say, "maybe the timing is not right yet, as God's timing is the best.."

i will be changing to team Alpha on the 16th.. right after my refresher training in HQ which runs from 9th to 13th..

seriously, i cannot understand why girls have to go for other guys when there is a guy standing infront of her confessing his love for her and been kept waiting for no reason..

there are alot of reason girls want to keep the guys waiting..
- not fit to be a boyfriend
- both are stubborn in nature
- lonely in other countries
- studies come first
- wrong timing
the list goes on..

guy like girl.. guy confess to the girl and the girl say other reason than "i dont like you.." guy thought got hope.. find out girl already in relationship.. in the end, wait for so long still no answer.. give up and blame the girl for giving false hopes.. in the end, both also suffer.. find this scenerio very familiar??

as for my own situation, i got 2 options..
- give up (most of my friends all suggest to me..)
- dont care about the situation at the moment and concentrate on other things like studies and career.. in other words, not the right time yet..
