Life Advice (1): Personal Perception
PERSONAL PERCEPTION
Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another man's poison. A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home, a boy commented, 'Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey? 'Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, 'The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?' Hearing this, the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.
Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, 'How can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman.' The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, 'Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you.' Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders.
It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future.
Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear.

Drive or no drive?
"Why you dont want to drive to school?"
Firstly, i drive is when there is a need to. Not as and when i like it.
Secondly, oil prices. Now the oil prices is so high, i really have to think thrice or more by taking the car out.
Thirdly, ERP. When i drove back from Woodlands, i saw three gantries along the expressway. I wonder how the expressway speed limit from 80km/h can reduce to 40km/h along the expressway. Luckily i drove back was on a Saturday night.
Fourth, public transport. Government encouraging it right though we have to squeeze each other into a mobile sardine can. Furthermore, i got concession pass. Cost will still be lower than driving a car.
Do i need to say more?

Birth-dead
Drove to pick up my goods before proceeding there. Set up store and began selling the product. Initially there were some traffic as it was a really hot day, but after that, there were no sales for like 3 hours. So for the last 2 hours, we cut price and increase the quantity as we tried to minimize our loss and to take as little stock back as possible.
After that, went to meet XT, Mandy and fitti for supper. And the very first person they ask me is Jaywalk. The man they have been so wanted to meet, but due to wrong timing. Time to schedule a supper instead of binge drinking liao.

Letting go
All i could say is that, for all my efforts in rebuilding and restore respect and trust because of past incident, it take a moment to came crashing down.
Im not saying im not without fault either. I should have been more observant and i should not have let my heart take over my mind.
Back
Truth to be told, i didnt post anything during this period of absence despite my personal reasons and certain factors contributed to the privatization of blog.
Nevertheless, had a couple of activities over the last few weeks.
First was the birthday celebration with YuNz at Timbre on 5th July. All i could say was i neither feel high or drunk despite barflies trying their best to make me drunk and pass out. The sequence goes like this: Tah, tah, tah, puke, tah, tah, puke, tah tah tah. All within 2 hours. Bah.
I wonder if this is going to be a yearly affair for me and YuNz. I might never look at my birthday celebration soberly ever again.
Thanks to the following barflies for their warm wishes and their presence: DTTS aka magic unipoke, Dowagr, Cow, AhTiong, Ed, Kell, Cakie, MSV, Vandalin, R3gular, TTSD, Jeni, wcwtay, Ruok, Thiang, Posh, Jaschocolate and Waffles.
Second was the Children's Cancer Foundation. Got my hair shaved.
Also had some school events for facilitating for financial literacy at Fairfield Methodist Carnival.
Hmm, from what i look at my schedule, my weekends are filled up due to participation in Forex Challenge. pfft, there goes my opportunity cost in working.

Interesting Laws
Law of the Telephone: When you dial a wrong number, you never get an engaged tone.
Law of Mechanical Repair: After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch.
Law of the Workshop: Any tool, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner.
Law of the Alibi: If you tell your boss you were late for work because you have a flat tire, the next morning you will have a flat tire.
Bath Theorem: When the body is immersed in water, the telephone rings.
Law of Encounters: The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you dont want to be seen with.
Law of the Result: When you try to prove to someone that a machine wont work, it will!
Law of Biomechanics: The severity of the itch is inversely proportional to the reach.
Theatre rule: People with the seats at the furthest from the aisle arrive last. Add one more, people who wanted to leave for the washroom is also furthest from the aisle.
Law of coffee: As soon as you sit down for a cup of hot coffee, your boss will ask you to do something which will last until the coffee is cold.
Interesting email i have from my friend.

5th of July
This coming Sat, and also for the first time in donno how many years, i will be celebrating my birthday with YuNz and other barflies.
Im already mentally prepared for all kinds of birthday treatment on that day.
As for my actual birthday which is the following Saturday, i think my whole banking cohort is celebrating with me. hahaha. because we will be having a bazaar at Woodlands Civic Plaza.
I think on that day, i will be spotted with a new look due to shaving of hair for the Children's Cancer Foundation.

Doubutsu Uranai
You are Silver Fawn, who don't show emotions openly.People think you are easy to get on, because of your gentle and modest character.
However, you are really an extremely proud person, and will not compromise easily.
You live truthfully to your beliefs.
You will not easily withdraw your opinion.
Sometimes you get pestered like young children.
You dream of leading life as a maverick.
But in reality, you respect duty and obligation, and are kind person.
On the other hand, you tend to observe your circumstances with an observant eye.
You show great identity, and are very clear on what you like and dislike.
Once you dislike something, you will not come to like it again.
You are also indifferent to things.
You do not care much about getting promotions, your relationship with someone you are going out with, and so on.
If you take interest in arts and literature, your talent may open up, and a turning point of your life will arrive.
You are loyal to something that you consider a life-work.
You should be the head of your own business.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite true but i dont think im a proud person. I still think humble is the way to go.

My Way
I was surprised to see my family's reaction and hear a positive answer from them. Nobody have ever convinced my father until today. This morning. Great.
The discussions look promising at the moment, only hope is that my dad does not have any second thoughts in it.
If things goes according to plan, 1st July 2008 will be a turning point for my family. *Fingers crossed*

Public Relations
I mean, was there a need to go up to the person and say whatever you like, without going through the brain, in the process of hurting the person in front of everyone? Is just like you tell the person how they should do it according to your expectations.
Heck, even if you want to do it, at least do it with a tact or just keep quiet. As a saying goes, "certain things are better left unsaid." Even if die die want to say, at least pull the person to one side and inform lah. By carrying out the above actions, it speaks alot of the person.

Final decision
After deliberating for so long, i have finally come to make a decision and that is to make my blog private.
I have seen my stats increase to 1 fold but im not worried about the increase in readership. There are quite a number of incidents which have happened, but it didnt appear on my blog. So to minimize repercussions or getting the wrong impression, i decide to take this route all by myself. Guess im used to it already.
I will privatize my blog on 30 June. My only request is that even if you want access to it, im afraid that i might not accept to it.

Role Model
To me, a role model is a person that gives you sound advices in life, teach you the ropes in life and provides a leeway to give you a headstart in life. This role model can be anyone so long he/she have these 3 criteria. Not too much or difficult to ask from a role model right.
I know that this decision would not bode down well as it may sound controversial and sudden. But what are the chances of a role model that you expecting, did a mistake that tarnish all the advices, the teachings and been a provider that you have been so faithfully follow, lose all the faith that you have in him/her?
Yes, i know that a role model is not perfect. He/she is also prone to mistakes. Somehow, i feel that this mistake can be avoided. But to God's will, it have to run its course.
Somehow, my faith in him/her have wavered to such manner that i have to distance myself towards him/her.
Anyway, im going to take a break from blogging. I think i have also lost the passion for blogging already. Hope the next post will be a new, refreshing and something different from my mundane lifestyle.
What girls don't know
Go figure. Not wholly true but have pretty much that are quite accurate. Guys, you know which ones are true.
- Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.
- Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.
- Guys will do anything just to get you to notice him
- Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend or ex love-interest.
- Boyfriends need to be reassured often that they're still loved.
- Don't talk about your guy friends to your boyfriend.
- Guys get jealous easily.
- Guys are more emotional than they'd like people to think.
- Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?!..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.
- Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.
- A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.
- Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships.
- Guys think WAY too much. One small thing a girl does, even if she doesn't notice it can make the guy think about it for hours, trying to figure out what it meant.
- Guys seek for advice from girls not other guys. Because most guys think alike, so if one guy's confused, then we're all confused.
- When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, "Please come and listen to me."
- If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know somethings' up.
- If your best guy friend seems to avoid you or is never around when you're with your boyfriend, he's probably jealous and likes you.
- When a guy tells you that you are beautiful, don't say you aren't. It makes them want to stop telling you because they don't want you to disagree with them.
- When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking of something.
- Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do.
- A guy has more problems than you can see with your naked eyes.
- Don't be a snob. Guys can be intimidated and give up easily.
- Guys talk about girls more than girls talk about guys.
- Guys hate rejection, but they hate being led on even more.
- If you are going to reject a guy, just do it. Don't say they are like a brother or just good friends, it just hurts even more. Tell them that you aren't interested in a relationship and they will respect you.
- Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions and are confusing but somehow are drawn even more to them.
- When a guy sacrifices his sleep and health just to be with you, he really likes you and wants to be with you as much as possible.

Test of Trust
But if the situation is new to him, how do you think he will react to it? Fail, people would lose expectation in you. Pass, the expectations will be higher the next time round.
I know that i cant please everyone or everybody. Sometimes i wonder am i too trustworthy that i have been taken for granted? Sometimes is the norms and groups that im so accustomed with, that if another new character comes in, i will automatically reject or kick it out or the worst will be putting a mask on just to please that person?
Somehow, God want to replay the situation again and again in me that i able to do it and conform to people's expectations. But i cant do that as my belief in "i dont owe people a living" stands firm. Maybe is due to my stubbornness, as i found out, can work against me or to my advantage.
I cant really relate these problems to any Tom, Dick or Harry as the best solution is just keep quiet about it. Sometimes i feel that too much information have been fed to me more than i could take it in.
Sometimes i just want to tell everyone that, "whatever you do, dont come and tell me. If you think that you are doing right or correct, go ahead and do it. Unless if you are stuck with a problem." But these words just cant uttered out.
Till then, life goes on.
Sorry if this is an incoherent post. Just need a place to rant.

Batam Trip
The way they think is really out of the box. And the solutions given, the proposals they come out with, the plans they think of really amazes me. Even they eat, also can come out with a business plan out of the blue.
I have pictures taken from my handphone about an innovative product (too bad not created by them) that is currently not seen in Singapore supermarkets yet. But it will comes to our shore in the near future. The product is burning charcoal without the use of solid fuel. BBQ is going to be so easy the next time round. Dont believe? Pictures will say a thousand words. Pardon me as i could only upload the pictures during the weekend.
This is not the only industry they are specializes in. They are also into entertainment, restaurants, pubs, hotels and cable television (biggest player in Batam).
It was really an enriching trip that textbooks cant teach you. If there is another time, im not hesitate to go again.

Back!!
Traffic was chaotic but in an orderly manner. There were very few traffic lights. The first time i experience the way they drive, my balls were in my mouth. Singaporean drivers will stop immediately when they see the front car stop and then move off again. But not for them, they wont stop even if the front car stop, they somehow have this instinct that the car will move off straight away. And when they stop, the bumper of the front car CANNOT be see. Their driving skills literally put me at ease after a few rides with them.
Food was fantastic. Thank God that i didnt have any problem. We even saw A&W there. Man, the thought of waffles with ice cream just couldnt stop me. *slurps*
The hosts were equally fantastic. We only pay for the ferry ride, and the rest they handle. Food, accommodation and transport.
We shopped for clothes and i went there literally a rich man. hahahha, due to the currency exchange. S$50 = Rupiah$32500. (S$1 = Rupiah$6600)
There will be a part two and pictures.

SPUG EPL Prediction League
I have been crowned champion for the first time in the Prediction League. It was 9 months of predictions where every point count. Any error in prediction will dethrone you in the first place. Hiak hiak, someone did that and never recovered. This time round, it was the closest call. It was a neck to neck race where photo finish could never decide who will be the winner. We even decide to have a tie breaker in neutral games like FA Cup Final and UEFA Champions League. Lucky, it was never materialized.
Frankly speaking, i would rather exchange place with the second place to ease off those unwanted pressure in order to be the underdog. But somehow, been top of the standings makes me predict the outcome all the more carefully.
Next season, i have some defending to do. *pat pat to someone*

Jokes aside, we will have another prediction competition coming up and it is the Euro 2008. Hope to see new competitors and most importantly, have fun. The link is here.
Let me have my 15 minutes of fame. Thank you.

Low risk low return
He sit down and intro himself and began his sales talk. I think i have show him alot of my body language that im not interested at the moment yet he still yakking away. He was trying to ask me to put my savings in an insurance company instead of a bank just to earn higher interest.
Hello? Insurance company interest is not guaranteed and put a higher figure more than the bank. The interest rate is pegged to the current economy and again, it is not guarantee. I forgotten to ask him what is the guaranteed interest rate we are getting if we put it in the insurance company than the bank. I was totally unconvinced the way he talk.
If insurance company is so good in providing an interest rate higher than the bank and is guarantee, the following points will happen:
- No need for sales person to come and convince us
- People will withdraw all their money in their bank and put it in insurance companies
- Low risk low return investment
Yes in a sense that some people is assured of the higher interest. That whatever you put in, you will still get back.
In another side of the coin, there will be people who will go for high risk high return investment where interest is much more than the insurance company and the bank.
Hai, i just hope no more survey for me. Im more appealed to the high risk high return investment where i know that i could make a loss the next instance, or a profit within a few hours.

New specs
I dont have a perfect eyesight to begin with. I started wearing specs when i was in sec school but then at that time, it was my mom's persistence that i have to wear specs. I stop wearing it after some time.
Now, i think my eyesight degree is getting deeper and worse from seeing the computer screen too much, that when i see things far away like the lecture projection screen, i have to strain my eyes.
Great, any chio-bu or pretty opticians to intro?
Pls dont imagine my look with spec on. I think i look like a nerd. Im wondering the timing of Jay's return is really that concidence. Hmm.......

Sense of humor
I had a conversation with my classmate when she told me that a particular tutor, who taught us last sem and lecture us this sem, watch korean drama.
It took a while to sink down because we always thought that she is into current affairs and i have a good laugh at it. Bwaahahhaahhaha.
This tutor is also the same person that ask my classmate to help me in this module. Gee, thanks.
For those who have been through her first tutorial literally got a culture shock. Just what i have expected. But this sem, she seem to show more of her sense of humor than erm, eh, i think i better leave out that word in case i kana aim in class again. =/

Tail shown!!
Gary: er, i dont think i need to explain because in the earlier post, you admit you are an uncle bait material. =p
YuNz: i know that. but what has my 'style' of carrying bag gotta do with being unclebait?
Gary: the way you portray yourself lor..
YuNz: idiot. make yourself clear.
Gary: the way you portray yourself makes you a bait for uncle.. or was it uncles bait you? =D
so there, i have proven that YuNz is adopting both methods. Look like next time meet up for meal again, the target will be Jaywalk liao. Given that he is coming back in 1 month's time, i wont be surprised if she show her tai tai manners to Jaywalk.
I no need to run away since i will be kana by him whenever he comes back. Resigned to fate liao. Or maybe from both of you plus Jaschocolate for going to pinch my cheeks.

Lunch date
Went to cineleisure and try out the new Japanese pasta restaurant called Shokodo. When we first went in, it was a spin off from Waraku where they also sell Japanese pasta. And our expectations of the food were average, but it was good. And reasonably cheap. But only bad thing is, it was under-staffed. We waited for the bill for quite sometime.
A simple meal where we chat on the common interests and topics.
PS: YuNz, you ish really an uncle-bait. Even carrying a bag must act like tai tai wor. Bwaahahahha. And whee, im her second xiao man man.

About me
"About me (Describe yourself)"
With 5000 words to describe, i could have written a composition about myself and literally paste on it for everyone (only those who are friends to me) to see.
The thing is, not everyone could understand the way i think or the way i behave. Generally, the perception or the impression i given to people are quiet, observant, optimistic and stubborn.
Some people might think that i dont have a sense of humor or having a 100% serious look everytime. Then i have to apologize for that as im more inclined to show the funny side of me to people that im comfortable with. I wont say i would reject comments for that as i have portray that kind of behaviour to everyone who first know me.
I donno about you guys, maybe im keen to know about what you guys think of me as a person. Good or bad, i will keep it in my strife.
Now i have to go back to Friendster and think of what to put. Hmm...

For or against?
I tried to go against the flow, yet the flow is flowing in favour of my direction. Wherever i turn, the flow also followed my direction.
Was it a matter of placing too much faith that expectations fall short? Or was it a matter that fun was taken too far?
I was expecting something worse, if not worst along the way. Whatever things that was thrown in my way, i seem to be hitting it back with a baseball bat.

Aftermath of a political stint
If you re-read the whole post, i didnt say anything bad about her. Im just comparing the working environment the first time and the second time i was in. Somemore it was a work-related issue. She say im having an attitude problem, i take it with a pinch of salt, not really bothered about the comment and carry on working.
But recently, she really took it to a personal level and throw 3 major workload to me. My stint is coming to an end and she expect me to finish it by tomorrow. That is really impossible.
I dont know man, but to take it to a personal level and put it into work is just very wrong.

How to tell
How to tell if a guy likes a girl:-
- The guy will try to make you laugh.
- He'll flirt with you when he can.
- He might try to show off around you.
- He'll help you out, if you ask for it.
- He'll stick up for you when you need it most.
- He'll be friendly to you and your good friends
- He might call you for no reason.
- He might make fun of you, in a joking way.
- He'll tell you that you did good, even if you did horrible.
- He'll make eye contact with a happy grin on his face.
- The girl will laugh at all your jokes.
- She'll stare at you with a smile on her face.
- She'll ask you who you like, continuously.
- She might try to make you jealous.
- She'll beg that you do everything for her.
- She might start talking to her friends.
- She'll talk to you about the different varieties of guys.
- She'll always seem to be talking about how nice you are.
- She'll always be flirting with every other guy except you.
- She'll always ask what to do in a bad situation.

The Handbrake Episode
Then she told me, "Let go for a joy ride."
"What joy ride?"
"Oh, i passed my driving test on the 1st attempt."
*glups* "And you ask me to be your first passenger?"
"Not really, my parents are the first."
"But why me?"
"Aiya, you are the only one that i know that have a driving licence for more than 5 years."
Not a very good excuse in the first place, but then i preparing myself mentally fearing for the worst.
Once in the car, she start the engine. Being a newbie, her first time jitters shown. "You sure your parents are the first passengers?"
"Yes, why?"
"You look very nervous. Just relax lah."
After i buckle my seat belt, she mumbled herself about the procedures in checking blind spots, shifted gear and step on the clutch and accelecrator. But the car wont move.
"Eh, why the car never move?"
I thought of something amiss when i saw the handbrake is still engaged. By then i began to chuckle.
She repeat the procedures again and again but still never notice the handbrake. I began to laugh out loud until i have to unbuckle the seat belt and continue laughing until buey lin chu (cannot recognise face)
"Oi, what so funny? I getting fed up already when the car not moving, you still laughing?"
"hahaahahaha, you, hahahha, should, hahahaha, look, hahahaha, at, ahahahhah, your, hahahaha, handbrake."
"wah lao, you good, and thanks for the laughter, you make me feel at ease."
bwahahaahahaahaha. by then, the damages already done. I was laughing throughout the whole journey and back. And i was impressed with her driving skills and vindicated my doubt. I ask her to send me back home for brightening up my day. And before i step out of the car, "remember the handbrake!"

Bus woes
First day, after tapping the card on the ez-link reader, "Ti-ti"
Bus driver: "Can i see your card?"
Hands my ez-link card over and my initial thought was, "Do i look like bus cheat to you? Im a student who is working part time during the holidays. And im using bus concession."
(For those who donno about paying fare using ez-link, adult ez-link goes "Ti" while children, elderly and those on concession goes, "Ti-ti" and there are several cases where adults using children ez-link cards to pay for the bus fare.)
After 5 minutes of checking my card and verifying my face, bus driver returns me the card.
Second day, saw the same bus driver again but somehow i have a feeling he will check my card again.
True enough, after tapping my card, he ask for my card. "WTF! you cant recognize me. yesterday you just check my card and now you check again."
I have to give him the benefit of the doubt as he make the same trip over and over again and thousands of passengers have board and alight the bus. But if im the only one that got checked by him for 2 days in a row, i think he deserve an award for forgetting me, and another award for showing passion for his job.
And no, im not a bus cheat. And im also wont board his bus when i went for work today. I wait for another one to come.
April Fool Joke
That time, i was having trouble with the script that im running now. Hence i add him to my blogger as an admin to edit my script. At that time, he was the only guy that i know of that knows about coding.
After he was done with it, he save it and ask me to take a look. There were 2 pranks. I saw the first one as it was quite obvious.
I saw it and removed already. But he screen capture it before i removed. Too late.I didnt noticed the other one as it was in fine print and further more, i cant see it in screen as it was a white background.
Until today when Princess start a thread in Cowboybar.
Again, i have to remind that i know it was a joke yet donno where it is coming from.
All along, i have to deny everything that was thrown to me or pull someone to be by my side, not the front. hah. Somehow XT come in at the right time in the bar, and we play along. hur hur hur.
Until i saw my blog counter stats. WTF? 10 fold increase. Which translate about 70 plus hit today. Nothing big deal there as there are some barflies who got more hits than me in a single day.
Somehow another barfly screen cap and show it to me. The truth is out there, and i cant deny anything liao. =/
But then again, who will confess in the fine print when i could have blog it out loud. And for the record, I dont like Princess.PS: Ken > hope you have fun all along.

You don't need anxiety and problems. All you really seek is a conflict free environment which can offer peace and mental security. You don't like the idea of being alone and, whatever the reason, at this time of your life you feel as if you are being 'left out'. What you really need is perhaps some 'tender loving care'.
You enjoy taking part in anything that may constitute fun and excitement. You need to be stimulated and need to feel that 'Life is worth living' and you are awaiting that stimulation and you don't particularly care where it comes from!
Enough is enough - but the problems never seem to stop. They never stop. You feel, and maybe you are right, that the problems seem to go on and on and you have indeed had more than your fair share of trials and tribulations. But to give you credit - you bounce back time and time again - you stick to your beliefs because deep down you have that inner knowledge, that 'belief' system that in the end, everything will turn out OK - and you are right -it will!
You are being unduly influenced by the situation that is all around you. You do not like the feeling of loneliness and whatever it is that seems to separate you from others. You know that life can be wonderful and you are anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to live it to the full. You therefore resent any restriction or limitations that are being imposed on you and you insist on going it alone.
You wish to be left in peace... no more conflict and no more differences of opinion. In fact you just don't want to be involved in arguments of any shape or form. All you want is for 'them' to get on with it - and to leave you alone.

Politics
Before i went back, i have heard of some mis-treatment by one of the management staff and my expectation after listening was bad, but not to the extent of the end of the curve. But i never expect to be really THAT bad after working for 1 month.
The environment have really changed alot. Last time round, there used to be shouting, joking and fooling around. Picture a happy working environment. Now, everyone is keeping to themselves, only grouped with those whom they can really shared all the gossips and happenings from the management staff. Even having lunch is also in groups. You could even feel the negative vibes in the air that you just dont have the motivation to work.
Frankly speaking, i dont have anything against the management staff despite doing stuff that is not in my capabilities. Heck, i haven even started doing it. I dont see other management staff asking me to do work that is not in my capability. Somehow it was her way of delegating work to other people that got tongues wagging. Dont get me wrong, if she is doing for the first time and need help, we will do our utmost best to help. But 2nd time and 3rd time? Other management staff have their own portfolios to take care of, they cant neglect their own work and help her 24/7. They too have deadlines to meet.
But somehow i bought up an issue to the top management recently and in return got backstabbed for it. The issue was regarding emails that cc-ed to me, i have to print out and file it. By the end of the day, any particular email that corresponds the most, the file will be quite thick. The logical common sense is to print out the last correspondence and file it in. Apparently the management staff dont see it that way and die die want to have the latest correspondence.
And now, im labelled as someone who have attitude problem and constantly been late. Why other people dont see it? Im not even hired by her, but another management staff. She also bad-mouthed other temps and im wondering in the first place, why the need to hire us when you are 'overwhelmed' with work and delegate work to us yet in return, bad-mouthed us? My day at the office is practically surfing the net half of the day. The other half is really working in the office. eg, checking email, photocopying, filing, using Excel to check figures.
This totally sum up the title of this post. Office politics. And my friendly management staff says it all, "Welcome to the real world."
2 more weeks to go and i cant even wait for it. There are 4 management staff and i only keep in contact with 2 of them. One is the above-mentioned, the other one is, let just say, no one bother to contact. This will also the last time i work for this company. One spoilt apple and other apples have to suffer from it.

Simple request
That is to hope not to go through last sem kind of events ever again. Though i know there is no way what will happened in the future, or some might even say that there could be a repeat of history, im pulling all stops to let it happened again. Good thing was everything is running smooth right now, from my family to my own personal problems. Is not as though i have requested for heaven and earth, is just a simple request that seem so hard to fulfill. No?
look like someone going to get a treat from me when he comes back year end. Hehe. And not forgetting a long-legged beauty wor. Thanks for the treat.

Absence of faith
Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ.’ The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.‘You’re a Christian, aren’t you, son?’‘Yes sir,’ the student says.
‘So you believe in God?’
‘Absolutely.’
‘Is God good?’
‘Sure! God’s good.’
‘Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?’
‘Yes.’
‘Are you good or evil?’
‘The Bible says I’m evil.’
The professor grins knowingly. ‘Aha! The Bible!’ He considers for a moment.
‘Here’s one for you. Let’s say there’s a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?’
‘Yes sir, I would.’
‘So you’re good…..!’
‘I wouldn’t say that.’
‘But why not say that? You’d help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn’t.’
The student does not answer, so the professor continues. ‘He doesn’t, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?’
The student remains silent.
‘No, you can’t, can you?’ the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.
‘Let’s start again, young fella Is God good?’
‘Er…yes,’ the student says.
‘Is Satan good?’
The student doesn’t hesitate on this one. ‘No.’
‘Then where does Satan come from?’
The student : ‘From…God…’
‘That’s right. God made Satan, didn’t he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?’
‘Yes, sir.’
‘Evil’s everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything, correct?’
‘Yes.’
‘So who created evil?’ The professor continued, ‘If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.’
Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues: ‘Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?’
The student: ‘Yes.’
‘So who created them?’
The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. ‘Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized.
‘Tell me,’ he continues onto another student. ‘Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?’
The student’s voice is confident: ‘Yes, professor, I do.’
The old man stops pacing. ‘Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?’
‘No sir. I’ve never seen Him’
‘Then tell us if you’ve ever heard your Jesus?’
‘No, sir, I have not.’
‘Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?’
‘No, sir, I’m afraid I haven’t.’
‘Yet you still believe in him?’
‘Yes.’
‘According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?’
‘Nothing,’ the student replies. ‘I only have my faith.’
‘Yes, faith,’ the professor repeats. ‘And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.’
The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own. ‘Professor, is there such thing as heat?’
‘Yes,’ the professor replies. ‘There’s heat.’
‘And is there such a thing as cold?’
‘Yes, son, there’s cold too.’
‘No sir, there isn’t…’
The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.
‘You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don’t have anything called ‘cold’. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat.
You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.’
Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.
‘What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?’
‘Yes,’ the professor replies without hesitation. ‘What is night if it isn’t darkness?’
‘You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have
Nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? That’s the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?’
The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. ‘So what point are you making, young man?’
‘Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.’
The professor’s face cannot hide his surprise this time. ‘Flawed? Can you explain how?’
‘You are working on the premise of duality,’ the student explains. ‘You argue that there is life and then there’s death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a
thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.’
‘Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?’
‘If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do’
‘Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?’
The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.
‘Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?’
The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided.
‘To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.’
The student looks around the room… ‘Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor’s brain?’ The class breaks out into laughter.
‘Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor’s brain, felt the professor’s brain, touched or smelled the professor’s brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no
brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?’
Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable.
Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. ‘I guess you’ll have to take them on faith.’
‘Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,’ the student continues. ‘Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?’
Now uncertain, the professor responds, ‘Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man’s inhumanity to man… It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.’
To this the student replied, ‘Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God.
God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God’s love present in his heart. It’s like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.‘
The professor sat down.
Pass this on if you have faith in God.
If not, still pass it on for it’s a good story.

Good company
just nice as i had one week of rest before going back to work..
this group of friends, whom i know during ITE, was formed in the 2nd year to participate in a global game competition held in USA. After the competition, we still keep in contact, through msn and sms, but never had a chance to meet up as we went our separate ways after graduation..
boy, it was a good old time remembering the past times over the meal..
there was one incident where the waiter did as we instruct to the leftover food. It was hilarious!! one sentence to describe the whole incident: no one come to cafe cartel to ta bao bread.. wahahhahaha..
we will be meeting again to go back to ITE to see our teachers.. and this gathering will be a yearly affair..

Incompetent or inexperienced
here is the link, another one
I know about how young people rejoice about when they finally got their driver license. They can finally be on the wheels and will plead with their parents to lend the cars to drive. But without supervision?
My next questions will be: How competent you are? And how sure you are that you will get the same road conditions, same kind drivers that allows you to change lanes?
And the answers to these questions are: there are alot more experienced drivers on the road, like taxi drivers, knowing Singapore routes inside out. A newbie driver that put a probation sign the car to alert other drivers to be careful. But, do you think the drivers will care in the first place? They will purposely make your driving more difficult. A wrong judgment in seeing the road condition will results in accidents and pin all the responsibility to the newbie driver.
Report mentioned that the driver only got his license last month. And of all roads, they have to try this road. Bad move. Now he have to live all his life with guilt and police are charging him with causing death with negligence.
Im seriously doubting the statements that the two survivors have given in the newspaper report. If cruising at a normal speed, say 50km/h, the accident would not have happened. Guess the driver never heed the warning in the first place.
To all newbie drivers, congrats that you have pass and got a driving license. But, if you insist on going for a ride, i would suggest you keep your ego aside and practice and hone your driving skills with someone fit to correct you, like your parents or uncle. You got 1 year to gain invaluable experience. After the 1 year probation, ask your parents or uncle to assess whether you are deem fit to drive alone without their supervision. If yes, then by all means invite your friends for a ride. I hope the accident is a good example.

Cowboybar Reloaded
CowBoyBar has once again reach another milestone. We are reloading CowBoyBar !From the humble beginnings at Goggle Group (where we eventually got evicted coz we were overloading the server with our traffic) to the ill-fated Yahoo! Groups and finally to the present Liquidblade domain, CowBoyBar has certainly come a long way.
Along the way, we made new friends and we lose some along the way too. As the word Bar suggest, it is a place where people come, people stay and people go. What's important is that we all had a good and memorable time (sans a quarrel here and a break up there) while we are making merry in the bar.
Over time, like any old house, clutter starts to accumulate and it has finally gotten to a point where sweeping and mopping the floors no longer works and hence calls for something more drastic like that of a full reset.
And so, here we are. CowBoyBar 2008.
We did make some backups here and there like membership roll and some of the more important threads like Martell Death Match (!), Members' Blog Directory and Members' Birthday List, etc., but other than those, it's deletesville as we start from a clean slate.
Everything is gone. It's a brand new day today!
So that's for a short introduction to the CowBoyBar leading up to today.
So what's next as far as the CowBoyBar is concerned?
Well, good news is that CowBoyBar is now re-opened for membership registration for a limited period only. Originally, it was a closed private forum as we want to keep unwanted people out (flamers, lamers and trolls) and with a smaller number of members, it is easier to form closer friendships as well as to maintain the quality standards of the CowBoyBar .
For newbies, here's what to expect.
- If you an unregistered visitor, you will be able to view and read some of the thread categories but you will not be able to comment in any of them.
- Upon approval of your application, you will be granted Grasshopper Status where it is a probationary membership of sorts. We are looking for members who will be active in the CowBoyBar. As with all forums everywhere, we more often than not, get people who signed up and never to return after a couple of weeks when the euphoria is dissipated and the dust is settled. That means more clutter that the Mods will have to clean up.
- There is no hard and fast rule to how to get promoted to Gunslinger Status which effectively is full membership. However, being an active member is generally a very good rule of thumb as well as meeting the rest of the BarFlies in person when we have outings or events.
Once you are a GunSlinger, the rest of the forum will be accessible to you and you will have more areas to chat and explore.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Food expedition
It was the last 2 weeks of my work when my colleagues decide to try something new as they are tired of the food from the MSC (Multi-Story Carpark) and nearby foodcourts.. So they decided to try at Vivocity
after buying our food and starting to eat, i was the one that started asking the prices of the food from 4 colleagues (3 girls and 1 guy).. all the girls replied reasonable pricing from their food and when i turn around and ask the guy, "how much is your food(malay rice with chicken and 2 vegetables)?"
"You guess!" was the reply.
"$3.50?"
"No.."
"$4??"
"More than that.." at this time, my eyebrows began to move up north..
"I think you tell me the price.."
"$7!!!" after hearing it, i nearly choked on the noodles.. Never ever in my life have i heard a plate of malay rice cost $7..
He mentioned the queue was not as long as the other stalls, so he buy from this particular stall (so long liao, forget the stall name..) And willing to pay that kind of price? Man, he could have just make up an excuse and say, "erm, i think i forgot to bring enough money today" or "wtf, so expensive, im not going to pay for this plate of rice.."
I told him in a jokingly manner after hearing it, "this plate of rice, you must eat until damn clean, cannot leave a grain of rice behind, nor a single piece of meat to be spotted.. chew slowly and finely until everything goes into your blood system.. and avoid going to the toilet for 2 days.. just to justified that the price is worth it.."
the girls were also shocked at what my guy colleague have say and laughed at the suggestion i have given to him..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since im blogging about food.. i wonder if i blog something that happen to my school canteen a few days back.. will it have any effect?? yeah i know i have no picture to prove but i saw it with my own eyes..
one of my classmate bought a plate of rice with 2 vegetables and 1 meat.. it has nothing to do with the pricing.. i dont want to mention which stall but the above description is as good as revealing it..
he eat halfway throughly and he saw something black.. he didnt think of anything as he thought it was a bone and just leave it to one side.. the plate was 3/4 finished when he decided to check what that thing.. and it was a baby cockroach..
"wah lan eh, i want to puke out sia!!" my friend's face turn green when he saw the insect..
"bring the plate and show them, and then make a complain.."
my friend went and show the seller the unique finding, and come back with a new plate with the same ingredients.."
"she say it was a fly that went into the food.."
"HUH?!? the baby cockroach looks cooked to me.. ask her to try that 'fly'.." shoot back my reply..
"now must make a thorough check on the rice liao.."
"you still got appetite to eat?" i ask with a puzzled tone..
luckily i have not patronized that stall since i step into this school.. neither will i do that in the future.. same goes for my friends..

Trailer Flipped
The trailer was carrying several tonnes of concrete slabs and it was making a turn to the left, when the right side of the wheel lifted up.. "dont turn anymore, sure flipped one.."
The trailer was 1/3 through the turning when it flipped..
i think the driver never heed the warning.. he try his luck to turn somemore.. and up goes the wheel and the trailer flip to the side..
my speculation of what causes the trailer to flip was either the driver forgotten the area where to turn and when he saw it, he abruptly turn, causing the concrete to tilt to the left and pushing all the weight down to the left.. or the concrete slabs never secured properly..
hope the driver is alright..

Identity
when i started this blog, i already knew of the consequences that comes with it, with or without RSS feeds.. whatever i post, there are bound to have some critics..
i mean dont you have the same feeling as me when you first started out, "wah, good sia, this is a good medium to write my deepest feelings, secrets, any happenings.." and as such, everything is know about you without meeting up the person.. but then again, i dont believe there will be such a person revealing everything in blog down to the smallest detail also must blog.
But as time goes by, i find that there is a need to filter out what i want to blog, not for the sake of blogging just to tell people what i have done, what i did for the day.. this is what we call reporting blog.. and i have seen cases to it.. On the other hand, what i blog is also for the sake of the memory lane, and when i get older, i can look through those old archives and laugh it off about this particular post could get into my blog.. "WTF moment perhaps?"
there are alot of things i dont blog, not because im afraid of the critics, but rather the situation are unnecessary and uncalled for in the first place.. what for i blog about it? it really depends on the situation, no??
i wont change my blog just to create a new identity, that's for sure..
as for the "personal challenge", initially i thought i shouldnt blog about it as after all, i need a listening ear.. but then again, the uniqueness of it prompted me to blog about it after my exams result.. there will be decision making involved also.. =/

Alone
But now, with the introduction of RSS feeds, getting to know more friends from the blogsphere, blogging about personal feelings are quite restricted.. Moreover, i dont use pseudonym like Jaywalk, Jeshuafreak or other weird nicknames to hide my identity.. just a plain old name, with lots of information on my blog makes me an easy target.. "oh, you are the one who blog about this post right?"
And for that, i have revert back to basic or old school.. finding a listening ear. But the problem is, those people that i call them friends have "left" me.. not as in i do something wrong that they left me to die.. but rather they have their own life to deal with, and the communication are rather little and few.. majority of them are working right now since graduated from ITE..
So to find that person who can earn my trust (for those who really donno me, i dont trust people easily), i have to look for someone that doesnt fit into the above description..
For the record, i wont disclose as what i call a "personal challenge" till i got my exams results..

What goes around comes around
But an incident change my whole perception on him totally.
I was at the storeroom making some checks when my manager and the guy came in as if their expression were to settle some serious stuff.
Before i could go out of the storeroom, i heard a loud smack. And i turned around and saw a slap mark on the guy.
I have no idea what has happened but from my sources told me, the guy have lied frequently to all the managers.. again i also have no idea why he was not asked to go despite been a habitual liar..
"wah, he look pretty decent leh, never knew he had such a habit in the first place.. never judge a book by its cover. his circle have come round for him.."
for 2 hours, i never uttered a single word. I am still shaken about the incident. As for both of them, i have no idea what happened to them.. i feel that im a bystander at the wrong place at the wrong time..

Emo for no reason??
Now, let assume that this person have lied to me and what are my courses of action?
1. i will let go of this friendship. sound harsh? let me go further before making a judgment..
2. what are the chances of this person lying to me again, given though that this person have no idea that i already knew this person is lying..
3. friendship started with respect, trust and communication. With the first 2 gone, what for keep it? keep it just for the sake of keeping it, then i will be the party that will shun all kinds of communication..
i wont get sad just because i lose a friend.. this is just to show how i was taken for granted.. i dont mind people making fun of me, or whatever you can think of.. but to tell lies to me, im not a friend to begin with in the first place..
As for relationships, God have plans for everyone. To the unsaved, to the believers, to the singles, to the couple, to the elderly..
1. for a girl, i have to give up the whole forest. In order for me to give up the whole forest, is when i find this special girl.
2. even if i have to be single, by all means i accept it. seriously speaking, singlehood have more pros than cons than in a relationship.. no??
again, i wont be sad just because i cant get a gf.. maybe i dont have the talent for relationship.. maybe God have saw my other talents and ask me to use it wisely..
on a side note, anyone still remember about the bet on the Donuts? i just saw the shop around my area close down liao.. haiya.. shouldnt have predicted until so far.. just start of 2008, close liao..

Liar liar
i hate this kind of person.. if want to lie, do it in such a way that there is no way for me to find other information..
i didnt do anything and the information just drop from the sky and falls onto my lap.. you could see how pissed off i am when i get to see those information..
"hello, im not a 19 year old boy that cant handles the truth.." i rather have someone tells me face to face about the truth.. but to tell lies, too bad i cant take it..
i was so turned off seeing that person that i cant help but to give a different look at that person.. luckily this person is not a close friend to begin with..
No targets
The first approach will be remain single until die lor.. for some reasons, my priorities have changed.. i wont say i have given up on love.. but as a saying goes, "time and tide wait for no man.." i rather use the time to do other things rather than waiting for answers from some people.. at the moment, love maybe elusive to me.. but im very afraid that once i achieved it, i might lose interest in it.. and from this, i figure it out that relationship is not for me at the moment.. somehow this leads me to the second approach..
The second approach will be finding the one and only half.. and for this to achieve, there is one condition to fulfill.. the other half have to be a christian.. no doubt about that.. im not going to preach about it as i believe that the Bible have very clear cut answers about it.. im still maintaining my principle in finding "the first and the only one.."
Dont bother giving me advices or challenging me about it.. there is no way i will let my principle been compromised..
And for the info, i dont have any targets to aim right now..
Meeting up part 2 of 2
had dinner at Carnivore.. had all kinds of meat they serve.. beef, lamb, pork, fish and chicken..
then head to st james.. first time been there.. lol.. luckily this time round, they go slow and easy all the way.. no hangover, no puking.. nothing.. and meet a surprised person at there.. TK and Bear Bear.. i was literally raping Bear Bear all over.. damn cute.. wahahahha..
and thanks for the theories lesson.. donno whether im able to apply it in the future..

One shot one kill
As a member of the Elite Sniper Team, Kurt was assigned to a mission. The only information he got was that this person will pass by this particular window at a particular time on a particular day.
On the first day of the mission, he camped at a high distance where he could see the particular window.
Over the next few days, he had it easy for him. He had gone without hunger for days, never did his business as the training he undergoes was much tougher than that. Never once did he moved or been disturbed by the surrounding around him.
The time has come when his watch vibrated. He waited with bated breath as he cocked his gun. "Anytime now.." But the time passed so quickly that he knew the target didnt appeared.
Now, he faced with even greater challenges as he is not prepared to deal with. His mind is casting doubt on him that he could have got the wrong window, his body is reaching to the limit where he could just close his eyes to rest, he is aching all over as he had been in a fixed position for days that he have lost count. His heart is asking him to give up on the mission. But he is not compromised to do so as there is no 'failure' in his dictionary.
He tried his best to fought all the thoughts in his head. "Maybe he will appeared next week at that particular day instead." The mind is playing devil's advocate.. "What if he never appear?"
"Wait till the day have pass.."
On that particular day, he began to lose hope when suddenly a shadow lurking just behind the particular window.
KA BAM!!

真的爱你 - Beyond
Though i dont speak cantonese, but i do understand what they are singing. I wonder is there chinese version for it.. if anyone have it, can send it to me.. Thanks a million..
Old songs hold much more meaning than those current new songs.. if i could dedicate this song, it will be to all the mothers and the very special someone whom my heart hold dearest..

Aliens vs Predator 2
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem picks up immediately after the events of AVP: Alien vs Predator. The Predator ('Scar'), who was impregnated by a Facehugger before being killed by an Alien Queen at the end of the first film, gives birth to a Predalien onboard his clan's ship. As the Predalien rampages through the ship, a Predator attempts to kill the Predalien with his plasma cannon but inadvertently shoots a hole in the ship causing it to crash in the forests outside of Gunnison, Colorado. The crash releases Facehuggers that quickly begin to impregnate townspeople and raise a new batch of Aliens. The crash has not gone unnoticed, however, as a distress call was sent by the ship to the Predator's homeworld. The Predators dispatch a ruthless and methodical 'cleaner', to purge the area by killing all the Aliens, the Predalien, all impregnated hosts, and anyone unfortunate enough to cross his path. At the same time, a group of townspeople caught in between the Aliens and the Predator, join forces to stop the Alien infestation before the military obliterates the town to contain the Aliens before they spread.

The hybrid look so cool! Awesome man!

Policies sucks!!
before this so-called "policy" been introduced, our company riders will go for as many orders as they want in order to earn the delivery charge, so long is in the same area.. $1.50 per order.. if there are 4 order at the same area, you earn $6 just for that trip alone..
now, ever since the "policy" is been implemented, the riders are not happy about it as they can only go for a maximum of 2 orders which translated only to $3 per trip..
firstly, if there is a shortage of riders and orders are coming thick and fast especially Sat evening where there is football, the orders will jam..
secondly, if all the riders are to take only 1 order at a time, how are we going to clear the delivery orders, with more orders coming in? You could imagine the whole table is full of orders waiting to be delivered..
the riders were right.. anyone who is in charge of the station have the final say in allowing how many orders the rider can go, provided the orders are in the same area.. not the manager..
because of this stupid policy, i find it hard to work as im stuck in between the riders and the managers.. but if i have to choose, i will have to side the riders.. we are depending on the riders.. if no riders, i think the company can just shut down the whole delivery service.. what the use of having a delivery service when there is no riders??
and because i only work part time, my colleagues are damn happy to see me whenever i come to work.. initially, i thought it was because i was able to lighten the work load.. but it was not the case until one of them confess to me that i have a way in treating the riders.. -_-""

Happy Belated Anniversary
the initials look surprisingly familiar to me when it dawned on me that it was my tutor's name.
after reading the post, i have nothing but nodding my head in agreement with all the points that have been mentioned. And for this, it does seem to make my point vindicated.
though it was not the first tutorial that i have attended, but it was the first tutorial to leave an impression on the class. FYI, it was my classmates that make the remarks and yet i blog about it. I was so dead when she founds out my blog and mention it without fail when we went for her tutorial every week. See at it in this angle: different people reacts differently when faced with a new style of teaching. And no, i never mentioned that i cannot take sarcastic remarks.
out of curiosity, i Goggled using her name and found out 4 posts about her. Erm, can i say that she have indeed live up her name for it? Haha..
ok, im really really dead when i see her when school reopens.. i bet she will remembers me for life as i heard she have a good memory.
by the way, happy belated anniversary in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
